I've seen a number of threads pop up for various game sales, so I thought maybe we have an official thread for whatever sales come up during the year.

Edit: I don't know how to add the OT tag, maybe I do not have permissions...

Pretty good bundle here - I can personally vouch for Job Simulator being fun, and I reckon Surgeon Simulator VR would likely be a good time.

Epic Store sale happening, again with a 10 bucks voucher, valid for all games that cost more that 14.99.

Some good stuff in there. Mortal Shell 10.99 with the voucher for example. Or Metro Exodus EE for 5.99.

I'm flirting with Iron Harvest, which costs 15 bucks with the voucher. Might pull the trigger.

Death Stranding is excellent. It's weird, no doubt, but it's excellent. I'm happy with my purchase.

Cool. I'll report back when I try it. Not sure when, given time constraints.
I don't mind weird at all (I love weird, actually). I am just not sure about the gameplay.

Tips for SnowRunner:

1. Do the tutorial missions (in the campaign)
2. Use your Scout to visit all the Towers to open up the map. This should be the first thing to do in every map.
3. No harm in reading some tutorials.
4. Once you got the hang of it, go to Russia and find the Tayga.
5. Definitely use a controller. No point using a wheel.
6. Have a beer with you, it is a slow game.

Cheers - I'll be sure to do all that. I played the original Spintyres so I know roughly what I'm in for, but more, newer, bigger and badder has to be worth a look.

There is something to it once you get into the spirit of it, my main gripe would be the fucking annoying UI more than anything (someone trained in Time Management efficency is desperately needed at Kojima HQ). It should purr like a cat on your new setup though with all the graphical bells and switches on. Also great soundtrack (which I'm not going to link to, because it's better experienced in the game IMHO).

Yeah the music is just incredible and yeah in game it's definitely greater than the sum of its parts. It runs brilliantly on my 1660 Super.

After learning that the 10 bucks voucher on the Epic store can be used more than one time, I went on another spree. It was weird because you can claim it once, and it then only shows up again at checkout.

Bought TPS 1+2 Remake. Looks great and I loved the games back then.

Bought Phoenix Point, 10 bucks is a great price. XCom 2 is one of my all time favorites and Phoenix Point seems to have some neat ideas.

Also bought Iron Harvest. Will wait for some patches and improvements, but the price was good. Love the style and I want to play a good strategy game campaign.

Gears Bundle available on steam and MS store:

Thinking about buying Gears Tactics because I'm a huge XCOM whore and this is on my wishlist since forever. Already own Gears 5.

JFC Deathloop is already 34% off in the Steam Halloween Sale. That game must have tanked hard for a 3rd cut this quickly.

Steam Autumn Sale has a ton of good discounts like Death Loop for 50% off, Doom Eternal for 15 bucks, Guardians of the Galaxy for 40 etc.

1 year of EA Play on Steam 14,99$/12,49€

With the voucher, some great and all time low prices there. Like Red Dead 2 for 19.99 or F.I.S.T for under 16. Many others. Definitely worth a look!

Won't buy Red Dead 2 though because I can't stand the slooooooooow ass gameplay
