Wow, what a shitty list. Was Last year that bad? If I were the Academy I would just take am Mulligan and try again next year. Who ever gets Best Picture should come with an asterisk.

Well, I really enjoyed Spider-Man: No Way Home so if it wins some awards that'd be cool too I guess.

Dune is obviously the stand-out film of the year but I do hope Belfast gets something. Genuinely a lovely film, a really beautiful, witty slice of working class life. Trust me, it's worth seeing at the cinema.

I recognize Dune, Licorice Pizza, Dont Look Up, Being the Ricardos, and West Side Story.

Out of those, I've only seen Dune. It was... kind of boring.

What even are these movies?

King Richard was a good movie I'm surprise NOT to see the Duel in best pictures. I thought it was a good movie.

I'm not surprise to dont look up which is one of the most self sanctimonious bullshit I've seen in a while.

Usually the movie lists from the Oscars are mostly filled with awful movies I never want to even attempt watching.

There are exceptions like Parasite where a good ass movie gets on your radar because it's blasted all over the internet/news after winning, but most of it is just whoever sucked the right dicks to get their movie a little trophy.

Dune is the only movie I am even aware of on that list. Still need to get around to watching it.
