So there's some screenshots of Prey from 1995. This would be to Prey that would be released in 2006 and in my opinion the best Prey.

And yeah, Prey also went through a period of development hell like Duke Nukem Forever. It wasn't anywhere near as long or tumultuous, but it did take quite a while to get there. Though the portal technology that eventually went into the final game was there from the start.

Would be interesting to see how different the original build was to the one we eventually got.

But I mostly want Prey 2 to leak so I can play that properly. Much better than a crappy System Shock wannabe.

Prey 2 still hurts.

MS would earn a lot of goodwill if they finished It up and released it.

wow crazy. We got 95 prey and 2001 DNF this year. dreams do come true.
Now we need 2002 DNF and later builds on doom3 engine !
Prey 1997-8 builds would be great too

Prey 2 being canceled was the biggest disappointment in gaming history for me personally.

It just looks so awesome and it would have been an actual sequel. And if it was good we probably would have gotten even more sequels. I would have loved to explore the universe further with this as there's so much potential.

Damn shame to say the least.

You know, it's funny because even the Prey reboot, which wasn't bad and had some good ideas but should have not have had the name Prey, apparently didn't do well either and so there will never be a sequel of the reboot either.

For some reason it seems like Prey is just a cursed by IP.

Yeah, but real Prey was a success and Prey 2 only got canned because Bethesda are shitheads. System Shock Wannabe flopped because it was meh.
