Update 3.3, Expeditions, introduces a brand new way to play No Man's Sky. Start a fresh journey in a brand new game mode, master a unique set of challenges with revitalised mission mechanics, earn exclusive new rewards, visit bustling hub worlds, and much more!

SHARED EXPEDITIONS

Introducing a whole new game mode: Expeditions. Each of these events starts from a fixed point in the universe, bringing the whole community of travellers together to embark on a shared journey.

Each expedition is structured around a series of Milestones. Complete these unique exploration goals in any order as you earn rewards, meet up with fellow travellers, and experiment with new ways of playing No Man's Sky.

MILESTONES AND PHASES

Each Expedition phase is made up of milestones. These challenges, ranging from the simple to the highly challenging, can be completed in any order.

Milestones are open-ended, and each one is a chance to explore a different aspect of No Man's Sky. Every completed milestone brings a reward to assist you in your journey. Pin a milestone to your mission log to learn more!

Every fully completed phase will unlock a unique reward, exclusive to those who undertake the expedition. An extra reward awaits those who complete the entire expedition!

SPACE STATION MISSION OVERHAUL

Missions available from Space Station Mission Agents have been completely reworked for greater depth and interest. Rewards have also been rebalanced, especially for higher level missions.

I'm surprised they are still updating this game. Did they ever launch the PS5 version? I might jump in again, if/when they do/did.
Yes! It is gorgeous and oh-so-smooth (still slightly jittery, but a revelation compared to last gen consoles). Basically the hardware finally caught up with the vision. There's even a much greater draw distance, so you see tons of vegetation and the like on screen at once, really adding to the sense that these are actual places.

Even some neat controller features too.

Sounds great, I may check back in.

I hated how awful this game made my PS4 Pro sound, full jet engine all the time. On my series X I turned it on, it's great and super smooth.

I've moved on though, Dragon Quest Builder 2 scratches an itch for me better than this did, yea there's no space, but the planets even with all the new updates are still very very samey, and the progress path isn't the best.

Hopped on the PS5 to download NMS to try out all the new updates that have been released since I played it at launch. I know I bought this game digitally, but the PS5 simply won't let me download it at all, not even the PS4 version. As it stands this game has found one more way to burn me.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this work without giving them another $60?

Surely if it's on your account you should be able to download it no? Maybe chase up Customer services?

It just pops me over to the page to buy it. It shows up in my library on the PS5, but it doesn't show a way to download it unlike everything else in the library that I've checked.
