Nintendo deserves a reward. They've outdone Sony. Now everyone thinks that Nintendo will be the death of gaming. I'm not even joking. I saw a video on youtube about how Nintendo is killing gaming. I even saw someone saying Nintendo is trying to become the Disney of gaming

Greedy is fine when you deliver. $80 game that everyone and their grandma will buy anyway? Fine. Look at Disney… what's it cost to go to Disney World for a family of four for a single day now, like $800? That's fine, people will pay it. They may not be happy about it but they want it.
Conversely, releasing a system nobody wanted, at $800 after tax, with components missing and sold a la carte that are perpetually unavailable anyway, and to top it all off the games look indiscernible at best and shittier at worst? That kind of greed is unacceptable, especially when you can play the best games from that platform on PC.
Nintendo knows that if people want to play Nintendo Switch 2 games they have to have a Nintendo Switch 2. The public knows that too, and that's why this thing is going to sell like crazy. I expect it to outsell the PS5 globally sometime shortly after its second Christmas. Nintendo may be greedy, but they aren't dumb. They know a console running the traditional model can still sell 150 million units, assuming the company putting it out isn't retarded and gives people a reason not to buy by releasing their best games on competing platforms.
