NieR: Automata The End of YoRHa Edition has been announced for Nintendo Switch.

Announced during the Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, the game will release on October 6, 2022.

This version of NieR: Automata comes with previously released DLC, plus costumes exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version.

"The critically acclaimed world of NieR: Automata invades Nintendo Switch!" reads a press release.

"When machine lifeforms from another world attack without warning, unleashing a new type of threat, mankind is driven from Earth and takes refuge on the Moon. As 2B, a member of the android military force YoRHa, immerse yourself in a ferocious battle to take back the planet."

The original game not running well is exactly why this Switch-port was possible. Nier Automata on PS4 is not a technically greedy game, Yoko Taro shat out the game once it was finished. With Switch, it surely is a masterfully applied port, which is no surprise because the port is done by a port studio known for good Switch-ports.

I still probably wont get this because I just 100%ed the game on PC last year.

All I care about. Now we can get 2B in Smash Bros. <3

It'll run the same way my intel hd graphics did which was at slow motion. This probably won't be the best version to get of this game considering the state of the bad pc port.

It's a game I've wanted on the Switch since day 1, but it's got a lot of work to do to compete with the Steam Deck now.

If they can lock the performance down, maybe include some Nintendo Easter eggs, like new themed costumes or weapons, and it gets a physical release, I might double dip.

I've had this on my PC wishlist for a while and will probably buy it there, but I was impressed with how this looked visually. If the 30fps is stable, it should be a good get for Switch. $60 is probably gonna be the asking price though.

No Man's Sky also looked better than I had expected on Switch, but I already have that on PC. Portal is nicely priced, but I already have those on PC too. However, that was a bit blurry looking for my liking.

Nice to see these games on Switch anyway, even if they are a bit late in the day.
