Cyberpunk anime was top tier as well. Almost as good as arcane.Looks like game adaptations are the new trend after all the super hero garbage.
Only decent thing I've seen come out of it so far was that LoL animated series of all things.
Horizon, TLoU, Uncharted, Sonic, Gears, Halo, Resident Evil, I won't watch any of it, it all looks like shit and I'm not interested at all.
So, mean tweets? Peace deals, a roaring economy, no wars, border security = distracted? WITH, the entire establishment trying to bring him down at every possible moment. Nope, don't buy it.
As someone who is not a Gears of War fan, by God please don't do live action. That plan for an animated series seems like the best course so give it to an independent animation studio that will do the IP justice. And it will give newbies a chance to see what the hype is all about with regards to the series.
Shit, just recently I was won over by two animated shows. I've never ever played League of Legends, yet I fucking loved Arcane.

And I've yet to play Cyberpunk 2077, but Edgerunners was a fantastic anime adaptation.

If Netflix plays their cards right (which I don't think they will), they could have another animated hit on their hands.
True, but Arcane strictly isn't an 1 for 1 adaptation either for LoL. They changed the lore regarding the Champions involved in the series to better fit the story. And I think it's all the more better for it.Edgerunners isn't an adaptation, it's an original story taking place in the same world as the game.
