Rush is so good. The world lost something special when Peart died; arguably the best drummer of the modern age. Look at him here in the late days of his life and still doing shit as a percussionist that most drummers only fucking dreamt of.

I can't believe that is the same band that I grew up listening to in the late 80s. Sounds SO different. Never heard this stuff.

You mean you never heard their 70s stuff or that these uploads are remixes from 2007-08?

I'm going through their discography and gonna check out 80s stuff soon.

I never heard of their 70s stuff. I am digging their 70s stuff more than their 80s stuff actually (though I like their 80s stuff). I don't know much music from the 70s outside of the typical bands like Led Zepplin, Rush, etc. I am glad you posted those. Gonna look at adding that to my vinyl collection.

70s are the best decade for music imo.

My step-dad has taken me to a couple Neil Young concerts (his idol growing up). And he buys me Neil Young vinyls (wife says I have to listen to Neil on my own time!). Not a big fan of Neil, but I do it to spend quality time with my parents.

I grew up listening to late 80s hair bands, and early 90s grunge. As I have gotten older, I am listening to more alternative/indie/folk rock for my new music. I am also buying some great 50s and 60s jazz vinyls and checking out jazz clubs.

I look forward to more of your YouTube posts here.

Saw Creed tonight (Madison Square Garden), and it might be the best concert I've ever been to. Absolutely amazing. Mammoth and 3 Doors Down opened.

Typical Douche Hipsters in the background, but the mix has been a great companion whilst working on projects today.

You might dig this... a bit more loungey but similar vibes IMO. Using it for a project I'm working on and dude won my Spotify Wrapped lol

I do quite dig that. Clicked on to another few related videos and shall be delving further. Cheers for the rec.

My mate got me listening to this lot.

Zeal & Ardor is a Swiss avant-garde metal band started and led by Manuel Gagneux, a Swiss-American musician who had previously created a chamber pop project called Birdmask. Formed in 2013, the band mixes sounds of African-American spirituals with black metal.
