Monster Hunter Wilds and Kingmakers are the only two that really have me wondering if I should quit the No New Games '25 challenge but other than that, 2025 is gravy to me. Im sure plenty of good games will come out but im still catching up on 2022-24

Fable and GTA are on another level from the rest for me. I don't expect either to make this year though.

But some other cool stuff

Crimson Desert

Maybe No Rest For the Wicked and Hades 2 will exit early access. Light No Fire would be cool too.

Gotta be honest, I rely on the forums a LOT to keep me up to date with what's releasing and when.

My most anticipated game is the upcoming Capcom Fighting Collection. I know the games very well, I'm just looking forward to the online functionality giving me a reason to jump straight back in to certain titles.

I hold a lot of hope for Phantom Blade Zero. It is probably the main new game that I am waiting for. I'm hoping the impressions continue to be good for this game as I love what I have seen of the games setting.

Also interested in Metal Gear Solid 3 remake. I've only ever played the start of the original. The story is mostly unspoiled for me, too. I did enjoy the Silent Hill 2 remake so I'm hoping for another good effort with this game.

GTA6 is worth a mention. I have both eyes open for this one. I will definitely rely on impressions before opening my wallet.

No Rest for the Wicked devs have only now broken radio silence since likely legal stuff with Embracer collapse fallout. They say big reveal in couple months, and a big update. Nice to hear, but very doubtful of 2025 release.

Greedfall 2 has taken big risks, and has had next to any updates since Early Access, not a good outlook.

Path of Exile 2 given the enormity of its scope being a full game yet with only half its Acts and Classes. I can easily see it being pushed into 2026.

Ditto the insane scope that GTA VI looks like.

2025 might be the year of the Snake, yet it might also be the year of the Delay.
