Thread: Metal Slug Tactics delayed to 2023

Shame Metal Slug Tactics looks like a interesting take on a awesome series.
To be fair we have gotten Project Triangle Strategy and the upcoming Diofield Chronicles (nothing to do with the Joestars or their vampire nemesis Dio I think.) and Tactics Orge Reborn. Then X-Com 3 and Final Fantasy Tactics being on at least one list of ever increasing confirmed leaks.
Then this, Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp whenever it releases.
I think Hogwarts Legacy has a steadily increasing chance of being the next 2022 game delayed to 2023.

Also Xenoblade 3 released and it depicts a war right from the opening cutscene.

Liekir Studio, Dotemu and Focus Entertainment (who acquired them in 2022) are all based in France, just to be clear.

Ah yes, their tireless efforts to make the game worthy of the Metal Slug franchise by halting development to focus on making different game and then coming back to it later. =S

I think that has more to do with tactical RPGs almost always sitting on the back burner compared to any other genre
