Up to this point, Megaton Musashi has been trapped in Japan. But looks like it'll finally be localized! Definitely excited to get this. It's one of the most-sought-after english translations in the Switch library, considering the pedigree of the developer.

sorry for the necrobump but there aren't really other threads on this game.

I'm still really excited for this one. Megaton Musashi has been one of my most wanted localizations on the Switch. Not sure if I'll get a Switch copy or PS5

Article:
LEVEL-5 will release a major update for Megaton Muashi W: Wired in November, which adds the new "Megarobo Batroseum," as well as famous pilots Koji Kabuto from Mazinger Z., Ryoma Nagare from Getter Robo, and Duke Fleed from UFO Robot Grendizer, the company announced.

"For Megaton Musashi W: Wired, we're getting ready to release significant new content," LEVEL-5 president and CEO Akihiro Hino said during today's LEVEL-5 Vision 2024: To the World's Children event. "Until now, you had to enhance your Rogues to battle online. In the new mode, the 'Megarobo Batroseum,' you can just select a Rogue and jump straight into battle. In other words, you can join player-versus-player as easy as in a fighting game. Some famous pilots will also enter the fray, making the heated super-robot battles even more exciting. The new Batroseum Mode is set to release in November 2024. Please look forward to it!"

Megaton Musashi W: Wired is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam.

How is this game? I stumbled on it on the PSN store like the day before it released. I love Level-5. Still have it on my wishlist and plan on getting it someday.

It's pretty good if:

- you like colorful, friendly anime vibe
- you like Bandai Namco-style 3rd person combat
- you like tweaking and customizing mechs like in Armored Core, Gundam, and Mechwarrior

It doesn't do a single revolutionary thing, it's simply a mech action game with heavy RPG/loadout customization
