Here we go baby....day 1 of testing the theory. First 3 games as I predicted...we rolled them. Now comes the pain lol....

Also, I loved wanda before....clearly undervalued by people who don't know how good she was. The strange team up....is like a fucking ulti in itself. It's so OP. I love it. Just went 21 and 0 with her and got MVP and haven't even played her in a while.
 
So 4th game....first one that felt like a true skill v skill. It was probably 60/40 for us on the skill, but it actually felt like a challenge this time. Interested to see the next match.

Went for B3 to B1 and had a lot of good matches for once in a night. Then it got retarded increasingly....after the 3rd loss, I quit. Still B1. Will continue tomorrow. It's really hard to put the game down and test this theory cuz man....I just wanna play the game...I just wanna have fun and have a fair shot each match.....

I am really hoping we get games like Ultimate Alliance 4, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Midnight Suns 2 using Rivals art style.

Lol I'm the same way.
I lose 3 matches curse out the game and say i hate this damn game and then I'm back on
Even when it's total bullshit something just draws you back in...
 
My buddy still subscribes to the "you will go to the rank you deserve, if not you're bad" mentality. Completely disregarding that it's not SBMM. Not even close to it. You cannot 1v6 your way up in rank, I don't care how good you are at the game. It's team based. It's not CS where you can skill your way into carrying retards. You are dependent on other people to fulfill your role in this game. If the game is giving one team a full boat of smurfs, and the other team a full boat of retards....the MM is rigged. We can argue all day about why it's rigged and the process....it's still rigged.

I agree but there are YouTubers who do exactly that - the journey from bronze to whatever the purple is, all solo queue. But they're also insane at it. Top 1%er types. And I assume they start new accounts for it so there's no backround data about them yet.

New accounts may get a break because they don't have the data yet. But I did see Timmy struggle hard to get out of bronze once upon a time. Unless I'm thinking of someone else, it took him a full stream. Like 8 hours.

There's also the argument of boosted accounts for streamers, even on their alts, but who knows.

Some people really don't understand that it is a team game. You can't carry matches without at least 1 or 2 other good teammates, and if you're matched against 6 players who know what they're doing you're done. I get SVP all the time on my team, it doesn't matter I'm still losing.

New accounts have many allowances that a veteran account doesnt, and these people also play like 9-12 hours at a time. You gain more points for winning than you lose for losing. I once climbed from gold to plat from playing for like 6 hours and it def felt like I lost more than I won.

Looks like my record lol.
Last season I climbed to Gold 1.
Now I can't even make it out of Bronze 3.
I notice that when I log in I usually win my first game and then bam loss after loss.

I was also against role Q but now I want them to make ranked role Q. Annoyed with all these people locking DPS while the other teams go 2 2 2. I can't play healer and tank at the same time and we don't need a moon knight a black widow a panther and a spiderman all on the same team.
And FFS if your gonna insta lock a DPS at least shoot the god damn Ironman that's going 29-2
 
My brother and I were in the diamonds, and we'd notice that we'd have one night of dominating, and one night of being dominated.

So I do think they stole some ideas from COD when it comes to matchmaking tricks to keep people emotionally invested.

Won 10 matches in a row, all with good teams in balanced matches with maybe 2 or 3 being complete stomps, suddenly I lose 4 matches in a row, each with a team that doesn't seem to know how to do the basics of team games. Won't even let me heal them when I flex, tanks solo flanking and dps that can't aim or kill for their lives.

This is so predictable.
 
Is it just me or is the lag insane
I was in a game and Spiderman and thor were gliding across the screen. I'm peni Parker and aim my webbing at Thor and 2 seconds later my web flies out and completly misses when he was right in front of me.
