Now this different for every country but there was a time, not long ago, in my country there was a mandated military service. When you turned 18, you had to, you had no choice in the matter, go to the army for a period of 6-12 months.
Now, thankfully, things are different. There is no such a thing anymore and it's great. There are some rumors that it might make a return for some reason and I see these women commenting on articles about this saying how it's a good thing, men need army to fully become a man, modern men are pussies etc. And I get mad seeing these bitches comment. Thing is, when mandatory military service was a thing, it was only mandatory for men. Women didn't have to go, they could if they wanted to but it wasn't optional for men. And that's not fair. With women pushing for equality these days, if mms were to make a comeback it should be mandatory for women as well.
Selective equality is shit, you can't be equal when it only suits you. Amirite?

Lithuania recently reintroduced mandatory service, I would support it for Latvia as well. With a neighbour like Russia it's needed

South Korea do it, too. I remember they were trying to get Son from Spurs to return to do his duty. Not sure if it ever actually transpired.

I would be all for it, especially if just for a year. I think it would change our (US) society for the better and actually teach some useful skills and ways of thinking to our young people, and that's not even mentioning the physical fitness aspect.

I seriously considered enlisting when I was younger, but chose to prioritize college and career. If it were universally mandatory, that would not have been a concern.

I support mandatory military training for both genders so that they have an appreciation for the sacrifices necessary to maintain a functional society. I do not support conscription/service for women because no society that sacrifices their childbearers can survive. Men and women are not the same. Gender "equality" is a fallacy that is only pushed during the comfort and ignorance of peacetime. Mandatory military training as an extension of high school would ensure everyone understands why they have what they have and would get them pulling in the same direction.
