Bought 12 of these. 6 for me which will stay mint in the man cave, and 6 singles to hand out to family for xmas. Unfortunately, I didn't get them in time. Took like 3 months to get them. They were on back order selling like crazy. They even extended the timeframe they were selling so hot. Got em for about $60. I'm already regretting not getting more. They are selling empty single cans on Ebay for $20 already lmao.

Those will be worth a pretty penny in 20 years when it will be a felony to own.

What type of beer is it? IPA, Ale or Stout?

It's supposed to be the replacement anti-woke beer to Bud Light's bullshit. So I'm fairly certain regular old domestic pisswater. I don't plan on opening any of them. And if anyone I gift does, I'll lose my shit.

We talkin prison felony or V for Vendetta black bag felony?

So probably an IPA lol

You do know what IPA stands for right . Honestly, they've just become more of an acquired taste in America the past 10-15 years maybe. I see them stocked a lot more now. I was drinking it before it was cool, man :cautious:

They will still leak and corrode over a relatively short period of time (like 2-3 years). To preserve collectible cans, you have to drain and rinse them.

Carefully drill one small hole in the center of the bottom to relieve pressure, then drill another hole on the bottom near the rim and drain. Then fill, rinse and drain them with water (maybe some iso alcohol as well) several times to prevent odors. Dry well and it will last a lot longer.

No shit? I've had a collectible beer can for about 4 years now and it hasn't leaked or corroded. If that's true, I may be drinking them after all

This is retarded

Found the DeSantis voter :sneaky:

It is a crapshoot. I had soft drink cans leak after 18 months, so it just depends on when the thin plastic liner in the cans fails.

Drilling also lets you preserve the cans in a visually pristine state, instead of popping the top. They will look full. You can also fill them with sand or (carefully) with foam to help them keep their shape and give them a little weight. Might want to practice on some plain pop cans first though.

I would imagine pop cans have to be different than beer though, right? Because of all that acid and shit. So glad I don't drink that crap anymore. Probably the number one cause of disease and overall health issues in the West.

Beer is acidic too, about 4 pH. Ethanol and a lot of the fermentation products are acids.

Let's see:
Nikki came off the best.

like someone unimportant here said, Vivek said a lot of the right things, but has an overly slick car salesman look that's hard to get past. He also has an uncanny-valley AI voice. Christy was spot on with that one.

I hate when ANY politician trots out the "I was talking to a woman/man named 'so and so' last week and they're having this very specific problem that only government can solve" bullshit. DeSantis did it like 3-4 times last night. It makes me want to fucking get up and leave the room.

While bringing up posts from other threads is not usually a problem, this beer can thread is not the place to talk about political favourites. There are various threads on the world section to discuss such things already.

Yeah found this thread on it. Meh. Maybe I'll drain one to make sure. Idk if I give a shit that much tbh. Sounds like if they fail, it's way down the road. I plan on being dead or the apocalypse taking place by then so I won't care much about beer cans. /s....?

Fine.

It was a joke, but if someone got offended and my response wasn't taken in the intended joke that it was, what else can I do but get more serious.
