I'd be interested to see what they actually update. I think season 3 wasn't stellar but season 1 and 2 were genuinely some of the most fun I've ever had with a fighting game. Top 3 fighting game of all time for me.

The original snes version changed the game. Shame what happened to Rare because the franchise should be seen in the same reverence as SF and MK

I don't know. I absolutely love KI but putting out an update for a 10 year old game seems silly to me. We're going to have (yet) another balance patch after all this time and potentially change the game (yet) again Eh. Last patch I remember is when when they completely patched out "YOLO" TJ and that made me sad. At this point, just make KI2.

Oh, and if you do end up doing a sequel, please give it to someone else besides IG.

It's very very good. The sound design is still the best Iv heard in a fighting game. It's dynamic and changes depending what's happening on the screen.
