Live After Death was the first metal album I ever bought, back in 1986. Maiden was my first metal love, and I was a huge fan during the 80s.
It's ridiculous then that I've never seen them live. I couldn't afford the tickets when I was a kid, and kinda lost interest once Bruce left the band in '93. Further, even after Bruce's return, the post-2000 albums never resonated with me like everything 7th Son and earlier.
However, it's a new generation, and my teenage daughter loves them. So, next October, we're both going to see Iron Maiden for the first time.
But Jesus, that wait...
Up The Irons!
