Live After Death was the first metal album I ever bought, back in 1986. Maiden was my first metal love, and I was a huge fan during the 80s.

It's ridiculous then that I've never seen them live. I couldn't afford the tickets when I was a kid, and kinda lost interest once Bruce left the band in '93. Further, even after Bruce's return, the post-2000 albums never resonated with me like everything 7th Son and earlier.

However, it's a new generation, and my teenage daughter loves them. So, next October, we're both going to see Iron Maiden for the first time. 🤘

But Jesus, that wait...

Up The Irons!

It pisses me off how little they tour in the UK. Luckily I got to see them at Sonisphere back in 2010.

Hope you and your daughter have a great time, their catalogue is ridiculous.

Ah ok so mostly classics with some Senjutsu mixed in. Should be a solid concert.

Also happy they're still repping Somewhere in Time. Always bummed they never did any official recordings of the concerts from that album.

Not a record or CD, but give this a whirl:

I played the shit out of that in high school. Watched it over and over and over...

edit: Actually, that has very little, if any, live sound from SiT. I thought it had more that it does.
