My symptoms looked like this:
Day 1 - Extreme fatigue/weakness. Couldn't do anything but sleep.
Day 2 - Extreme fatigue/weakness. Severe headache.
Day 3 - Extreme fatigue, weakness, and bodyaches with headache.
Day 4 - Extreme fatigue, weakness, and bodyaches with headache and coughing.
Day 5 - Coughing. Weakness. Fatigue.
Day 6 - No fatigue! Extreme body aches. Skin hurt like crazy. Even water on my skin from a shower or my shirt against my skin HURT like hell.
Day 7 -I felt pretty good minus some body pain.
Day 8 - Sinus explosion. Eyeballs feel like they're going to explode.
Day 9 - Sinus explosion. Eyeballs feel like they're going to explode.

I've done nettypots, vaporizers, everything over the counter, and NOTHING works to fix my sinuses. I am suffering. Fun times right?

Woah, get well soon, mate...

Sounds horrible... :/

I got COVID in February and it was just a cough for a few days, a bad cough, I hacked up some stuff on the third day... but that's about it, I mean some fatigue and muscle weakness like I'd normally get with such a cough. I want to believe because of how mundane it was it wasn't actually COVID but among the people it went through in my family some did lose sense of taste/smell for a bit which sounds like COVID. Some didn't get any symptoms. The older members got that cocktail thing. Overall it wasn't bad for any of us and we're talking like 20+ people in the family who got it. It's a shame they don't have a better idea of why some people do worse than others, like obesity is a risk but I'm obese and for me it was just like any other flu and certainly not the worst I've had.

How are you doing food? Just delivery? Are you completely avoiding people?
We've been doing instacart for groceries. I went into CVS twice this AM out of desperation. My sinuses felt like they were going to explode. I spent $150 on every over the counter sinus relief thing they have. I was up until 8am wanting to die because of it.

That sucks, dude, hope you get better.

Sorry to hear man. I hope you feel much better soon.

Are you planning on getting the vaccine? Has getting covid impacted how you feel about it in any way?

@Stouffers <3 I'll live.
@Falcs Thanks bro. I will not. First off, doctor told my wife she shouldn't entertain the vaccine for at least 6 months after her recovery. Second, I'm a believer in natural immunity, so I'd rather just take another bout in this. I definitely learned my lesson about my sinuses though. Apparently antihistamines, which I was taking with all the cold medicine, dry up your sinuses. If it weren't for my sinuses being fucked right now I'd be fine. I bought a navage this morning and have already used it 3 times. It's been slowly but surely clearing me out. I haven't had a single booger, NOTHING in my nose, in days, that should give you a hint as to how dry my sinuses are.

Get well soon! Did you go to the doctor? I'm worried about your last two days, the "exploding eyeballs". You mention you skin hurting earler. Were there red dots on your skin? I severely recommend getting checked for thrombose. It's a side effect of the AstraZeneca vaccine, but it might occur from the virus itself, too. It can be cured if handled early enough. Not saying this to scare or lecture you, I really hate people suffering, so pls don't "tough it out". :/

@Stouffers Second, I'm a believer in natural immunity, so I'd rather just take another bout in this.
That's not how this works :/ Pls get vaccinated. For your own and other people's well-being.

My sinuses have had problems all my life and dry out easily. I've been using the Navage twice a day for awhile and it is life changing with how much easier I can breath. It took a few days for my sinuses to feel consistently better after I started using it.

Those salt water pods can get expensive. Google how to make your own and how to trick the device's security check system to save money. It's real easy.

Hope you feel better.

I get terrible congestion and nothing helps....

Except Oxymetazoline HCI.

I believe the popular brand name is Afrin but you can get the Equate version for cheap.

It works like magic and clears it up asap and last for about 12 hours.

Just be aware you shouldn't use it after 3 consecutive days.

It's kinda pricey on Amazon. I bought this same one in-store at Walmart for about 3 or 4 dollars.

Anything to help a nibba out.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone
@Cryptek @Mirabilis @Tesseract
I just popped that in my nose @Cryptek I had bought that a couple days ago. It gives relief.
@OutrageousFacts Gonna be at least 6+ months until I can get it, so hopefully they've got a newer version available that can handle this African strain.
@JORMBO I got like 24 pods left, I don't plan to do it every day. Once I get out of this mess maybe twice a week? But thanks for the heads up. Will inevitably need refills.

So... vaccine then?

Sorry to hear what you've been going through OP. I've had several family members diagnosed with Covid but they all seemed to have pulled through. Most of them only had a mild sickness but my cousin's wife was hospitalized for awhile and had to be put on oxygen to help her breathe. Luckily she's recovering now back home, but their bill at the hospital was ENORMOUS.

Get well soon OP. And stay safe folks.

Did you loose your sense of taste ? Guessing with your sinus problems smell was the first to go

Hope you feel better now!

Friend of mine had it, and four weeks after recovering, still can't smell anything. Like, his baby's diapers have been full of shit, stinking to hell and back. He was holding his son, not noticing anything. Hope his ability to smell will come back soon.

I lost smell and taste for almost two months but now all my smells and tastes are scrambled. A ton of things I liked now smell horrible and vice versa. It really feels strange when you remember something smelled good but suddenly smells rancid. Other than that I had typical flu symptoms for a bout a day or two.

Damn, that sucks. If I imagine that for example a good steak would start to smell bad to me.... Nightmares.

I hope @El Rey reports back soon :/
I'm alive. It just sucks. I've been getting these nauseating headaches every day since day 1. That causes insomnia, and I've randomly had stomach pains/diarrhea the past few days. Yesterday had severe fatigue too, didn't matter how much I slept, I wanted to sleep more. Covid has been a fucking rollercoaster of symptoms for me, I just want to be 100% already. It's been almost a fucking month.

So I know you have covid; but you could have a secondary sinus infection. Antibiotics might help you.
I've asked two doctors about that and both doctors I spoke to said they didn't want to bother with antibiotics because muh covid is viral.
