With all the talk about MS buying Sega, MS dropping out of the console business and Sega returning, I thought it'd be fun to take it at face value and imagine that Sega indeed announced a new home console. The question is simple: Would you be excited and if so, what would you expect from that console?
For me, it'd be this:
- I'd absolutely like it, because Sega being a console competitor is too nostalgic to not like it.
- hardware that can be sold for at least 100 dollars cheaper than PS5's cheapest model. Maybe even going after Nintendo's hybrid-market would be a good idea.
- games-wise, they'd absolutely need to announce the following 3 games for launch window:

- Soul Calibur Revolution (series-reboot that focuses on the orginal cast of characters and adds the best yet story-mode. Gorgeous graphics, ofc. Taki's nipples have never been bigger/fleshier)
- Space Channel 6 (Ulala's return in a great rhythm game perfect for pick up and play-gameplay)
- Skies of Arcadia 2 (but it will be called "Skies of Arcadia: Moonfall", high-quality jrpg, uses the first game's battle system, but faster. Full of homages to the first game, but can be enjoyed by itself. If successful, Sega promises full-remake of the original game)
- Seaman 2 (making full use of the controller's motion controls, microphone, etc.. Super weird game with online-features)
