Dreamsettler is a spiritual successor like the first game, Hypnospace Outlaw. The "gameplay" of the first game mainly takes place in a simulated computer desktop (complete with icons!!) with a fake internet to explore. You interact with fake users and search fake websites, but it's not entirely a gag (like Job Simulator). There's a creepy story woven through that's... I dunno, more unsettling/bizarre than creepy, but it's interesting enough to take it seriously in some respects. Seems like Dreamsettler will be similar:
