Q coming back was bound to happen in some way shape or form, but this is super exciting. Picard and Q have always had an interesting relationship where behind the "Impish" nature of Q, was a benevolent being that was in a sort of round-about and annoying way guiding humanity along the right path, whether it be by external forces and activities, or self reflection. I think it'll be interesting to see how 27 years will have affected both from an actor and character perspective.

There is also a Stewart / de Lancie interview for First Contact Day which gave just a little bit more info, and definitely had some Tapestry episode vibes:

  • Shocked
Reactions: Cryptek
The first series was a fucking train wreck that made zero sense as being supposedly in the same universe as TNG, let alone a direct continuation.

Honestly hope this gets cancelled ASAP. All these Kurtzeman shows are just shitting on Star Trek quite frankly.

I haven't even seen it but I watched the RLM episode about the show twice. It pretty much told me everything I needed to know.

I read plot synopsis and reviews for most, but I watched the opening two episodes, the one that introduced 7 of 9, and last two, and it was all unrelentingly shit.

Yeah, I definitely want to see the adventures of
fake Robo-Picard, now that Picard is dead.

I'm pretty much half asleep and looked back at the title and swore it said "Hannity's Trial Never Ends"
