Finally something to get excited about with Marvel. Ryan coming thru for a much needed win. I hope Hugh gets a role to the size of at least Cable if not more. Would be great to see them together finally.

I always believed he would be back as Logan

Conflicted on this as I loved the first Deadpool but it just went too deep into the comedy area versus him being a badass assassin.

Over the past 2 decades the interactions between Wade/Logan are beyond slapstick that it's just not the same Deadpool I grew up with before everything was a joke.

IMO all of the Wolverine movies suck and he's my favorite character. Should've always been Rated R, but every iteration they make is a bad told story, I don't expect anything to change.

It better be rated R despite being a Disney/Marvel production. I know Ryan Reynolds has creative control on the Deadpool films but it'd be a shame if he bowed down to studio pressure and neuter this. Here's hoping it doesn't happen.

We never really got to see Wade and Logan interact except in the awful X-Men Origins Wolverine flick, and Deadpool was mainly just a side character there. I want to see Ryan and Hugh's hilarious offscreen rivalry become comedy gold onscreen.

I thought the first movie was pretty fun and second kinda sucked shit, so I'm not sure what to expect from a 3rd. Having Jackman does make it more enticing, even if he's lookin pretty old.

I wonder if this leads to them using his likeness in the upcoming Insomniac game.

Deadpool is such an annoying shit, I can't stand the character

He's like Spider-Man with the quips but way too much 2006-era internet randomness thrown in, "'Lololol Cheese! Llamas! Arent I random?! *Robert De Niro impression* Look at my ugly face!"

Fuck Deadpool, first movie sucked too

Fourth wall/meta humour is just the laziest shit.

Agreed 99% of the time

Rarely is it ever done well. Fwiw, I think the short-lived Clerks cartoon absolutely nailed it:

They also had that bit where the second episode was a parody of sitcom clip show episodes and it was just clips of the first episode. Still makes me smile lol

I know we were all worried about the possibility that a Deadpool vs Wolverine movie would be too macho and have too much toxic masculinity, but we don't have to worry anymore!!

oh shit. so they are now after deadpool? and they wanna inject identity politics to a character who already has mental illness without that? his power can fight cancer but this time he won't survive this.

I don't want to give up hope yet. Hopefully it doesn't suck but I have no idea how you can completely fail at writing a show and then get hired immediately after that failure to write for a movie. Well, I mean I do have an idea of why that's happening in the mind virus era, but just saying I have no idea how a business can purposely make a choice they know is bad for business.
