There is a House of The Dead Remake trailer for Nintendo Switch.

Not sure whether it's gonna be released for Nintendo Switch this year or not but according to what I saw from the screenshots in the official page the gameplay will be the same rail shooter we were used to which is a super positive.

I have a bit of a knee-jerk over not having an actual gun to point and aim, pixel precise, with, but the Switch gyro should be an acceptable alternative.

This could be really fun.

Hot D 🍆

Have played an absolute shitload of the second one over the years, only played this one a handful of times. Will definitely be picking it up. Hopefully this does well and we get more light gun style games on switch.

Capcom, I would absolutely buy an RE Chronicles double pack.

I remember playing HotD 2 and 3 on the Wii, which was really fun. That being said, I think the Wii was probably the best console for the game as the Wiimote is similar to a light gun. Overkill was the best, though. lol

I wonder if they'll preserve the shitastic voice acting.

I played through Ion Fury and am currently going through Duke 3D using the gyro aiming and it works fine. I can't think of any reason why gyro wouldn't work for an on rails light gun shooter.

Either way, I love HotD and have been waiting on a port of the OG game for what it seems like decades now. As great as 2 and 3 were, I feel like HotD1 was the best entry in the series.
