Thread: House of Dragon HBO | Trailer
I kinda don't care. Maybe HBO should of had closer reigns on GRRM when it was apparent shit was going sideways.

Corrected for accuracy. If HBO kept Captain Procrastination tied to a desk in the Red Keep for a few years they might have had something to base the last few seasons off versus the back of a napkin outline he gave them. D&D definitely aren't blameless for sure (they should have opted for a 3 season wrap up versus 2) but GRRM absolutely deserves to be lambasted for having fucked about doing anything but, esp given he was an executive producer on the series.

So it's the story of how the Targaryens conquered Westeros? Sounds awesome. I'm definitely in for it.

My main problem with Game of Thrones was how they handled all of the stuff with the others, the Night King, and Jon & Daenerys. The rest of the drama stuff was really well done for the most part.

It's the story about the Targarian civil war where most of their dragons were killed in dragon on dragon combat.

I want this to be great because GoT is an all time favorite, problems and all, and there's a lot of potential there. That said, HBO just showed me they won't hesitate to piss all over even their most cherished properties given the opportunity (re: Sopranos/Many Saints of Newark) so my expectations are at rock bottom.

That trailer didn't do much to hype me up for a return to that world.

How about an update on The Winds of Winter? Or is Martin too busy cashing checks from HBO?

Whatever he is doing Clive from Izombie was on the money

Nah sorry, I dont care anymore. They killed my interest in this franchise.

I guess if by the time the show is finished the word of mouth is still good I'd give it a chance.

Im curious how it will do as this probably got greenlight when GOT was the biggest thing around. But excitement for the franchise went down a cliff after the finale. It wasn't like, say, the Star Wars sequels where you still see discussion and people mentioning it. Like a month after the GOT finale it just vanished, no more discussions or even memes.
