Goths vs Dude Bros.

I like both games but Vampire is more my style (Horror). I remember it used the Half Life 2 engine, before Half Life 2 even came out.

Bloody hell this is a tough one.

My gut instinct was Vampire, but then I remembered some of the awesome moments of Halo 3, and nothing comes close. But Vampire is so good in other ways Halo 3 isn't…

Genuinely need to have a think about it and come back.

I haven't played Vampire, but have seen and heard good things about it, and I have some familiarity with the table-top role playing game that it's based on. I'm kind of leaning towards that game. I feel like none of the Halo games were really as groundbreaking as the first one.

Boomsticks!!

Not perfect, but a lot of love for VTM:B esp playing as a Malkavian. Good times, pity that the follow up is likely to be a complete turd.

Halo 3 was a much better game than Halo 2, but had the same issue that results in me disliking it: Bungie SUCKS at stories. In fact bungie sucks at everything except gun play now, Destiny is a POS seires that represents the worst of gaming. Halo 3 though just takes the take for a horrible video game story, horrible cut scenes, horrible pacing and a staggering lack of polish (again, Bungie is a piece of shit developer).

V:TM is a game held together by duct tape, but even with those flaws it was something insanely unique and to this day is still a fun game to revisit.

My vote is easily for V:TM.

I initially voted Vampire. However, I have played many RPGs I thought were better overall, as much as I enjoyed it.

Halo 3 in my eyes was the pinnacle of the FPS genre. Everything afterwards has been trying to capture the magic.

I LOVE both games to death. Played hundreds of hours in each and consider both the peak in their respective genre. Halo 3 is an absolutely perfect FPS and VTM: Bloodline is a flawed but incredibly well written, entertaining and unique game like the OG NieR.

Sophie's choice...

Halo 3 but only by the slimmest of margins.

Boomsticks!!

Not perfect, but a lot of love for VTM:B esp playing as a Malkavian. Good times, pity that the follow up is likely to be a complete turd.

Playing as Malkavian is like playing a different, much better, game. But I would never recommend it to anyone on their first playthrough, ideally 3rd or 4th.

There's nothing like Vampire. Absolutely unique game with a grimy and sleazy atmosphere where you actually feel like a creature of the night.

Halo is just another Halo. There's like 10 of them.

Halo 3 is good, but Bloodlines is an absolute classic. It's a shame it was released in such a buggy and unfinished state, but it absolutely gets my vote.

VTMB was a letdown, personally. I played the heck out of VTM Redemption, probably 5 or 6 full play throughs. Bloodlines was bigger and more intricate, but the story was worse and I was sad they didn't do a similar medieval -> modern transition like they did in Redemption. Also Bloodlines was somehow even glitchier than Redemption. So it kinda fell flat for me.

Halo 3…. Eh I was already over Halo by the time 3 came out. But I played through the campaign many years later (like…. Sometime in 2018 or 2019) and I had fun the whole way through. Gotta give it to Halo.

People always lose me when they bring up a game's multiplayer...I just don't care. I will always vote for the game with the better single player experience. Every single time.

Vampires are cooler than ANY tank:LOL:

Joking aside, to me a game that can't be enjoyed unless I have a bunch of people with me is a worthless piece of plastic

Halo 3 took that magic that Halo: Combat Evolved brought and amped it up.

Still the best 1 2 punch in the Halo IP. Honorable mention to ODST.

Nothing beats getting a Warthog with a Marine manning the turret (doesn't matter which type) and your passenger running a Sniper gun or Spartan Laser. <- My favorite Halo experience anytime I am able to do it.

Halo 3 is one of the best games ever made period. No matter what game it's up against, there should be reason enough to consider voting for it. I remember the first time seeing it, the contraptions you release with X button were brilliant to me. Bubble Shield. Energy Drain. Air Lift. Trip Mine. And let us never forget the great map that is Sandtrap

Too many great times with H3. It's only one game. But it kept the fun going on fiercely for years after release. Halo 3 was extremely fun. It's successor, Halo 4, was only fun for a week or two and then it became a complete bore even just a month after of playing the game

Came down on Vampire in the end.

Halo 3 has it on gameplay and epicness, but for sheer variety, depth, complexity, repeatability and big goth titties, the bloodsucker game can't be beat.

Well that was unfair.

Halo 3 came into this face off with a huge Xbox mind share thanks to the great work of Phil Spencer, all the excitement around the brand, strong marketing, great communication, Gamepass being the best deal in gaming by far, Xbox releasing one banger after another, the last Halo game being a classic, the Halo TV series being extremely popular and well received.

Vampire got robbed.

Brand recognition won but it is surprisingly close (considering Vampire hasn't even been on consoles). They need to do a remaster of it.
