Tough choice for me.

I think I gotta vote Burnout, which is excellent right out of the box, right when you push the start button.

Alpha Protocol takes a few missions until you see the way choices affect the play through and you begin leveling up and using more powerful perks. It's great, but not perfect. It could really use a Resident Evil 2/ Dead Space sort of remake.

If this were L.A. Noire instead of Alpha Protocol, I would vote for it.

Not sure if this helps or hinders, but that is where I am at on this.

This is a nasty one!!! I think I ultimately respect Alpha Protocol more than I enjoy it.
Burnout 3 had me catching myself driving on the other side of the road for points IRL.

Winner: Burnout 3

L.A. Noire is a period piece that is very well done. They get the aesthetic of the post-war Noir storytelling with great cases to pursue. The Radio station is carefully curated with much more variety, they even have advertisements for in game products and companies. The architecture and spaces, they took actual photographs from L.A.'s library and records to recreate the map of the era. L.A. Noire has actual historic automobiles that look great.

James Bond? That well-known Archetype for the Super Secret Spy who has one of the best cars out there?

Don't be mad that buggy mess of an RPG which is Alpha Protocol can't hang against a game about "driving a motorised vehicle".
