I love the Bioshock franchise. Not sure how I would rate them but had lots of *time* for Infinite. The early game twist really caught me off guard and I loved the complexity of the ending. The DLC was really good as well, where you could see Rapture before the fall. Also, listening to this song before and after finishing the game:

I wish we had the BioShock Infinite that was previewed and not whatever we ended up with. Looking back on it, it was certainly a bold ending which thematically ties everything together but the actual moment to moment gameplay and story I found incredibly lacking. That ghost boss soured me for the longest time too.

It's Mario Kart 64 for me. Not even the best Mario Kart, but still a great time even today.

I do remember the Ghost been quite a big difficulty spike, fair point there.

Other than the ending and the time portal stuff it's the only thing I really remember about the game. Hatred creates memories I suppose lol

I really disliked how obvious it was that a combat situation was about to happen because it was the only time those hook rails were present too. There was a better game in production at some point, but Infinite can't even hold a candle to 1 or 2 in terms of story, combat and level design.

A shame too, as the inversion of the original concept could've been just as intriguing as the first, however even Columbia couldn't top the original setting.

I'm no fan of Mario Kart 64 but I strongly dislike Bioshock Infinite. That game just sucks and I remember when journos were deliberately conspiring to give this turd highest scores because it elevates videogames as an art form or some shit. Funny how bullshitter Levine ran with the money afterwards and disappeared.

Bioshock easy. Mario Kart ran at like 20 fps average on some multiplayer courses. I will absolutely not give any awards to a game like that, and a racing game at that. I had way more fun with Double Dash because of the improved frame rate and visuals alone. And Bioshock Infinite is an excellent game either way.

My opinion of BI changed a lot over the course of my playthrough, and I ended up not liking it much at all. MK64 on the other hand was and always will be a hoot to play.

Damn! The poll isn't even close! The Bioshok Infinite difficulty ramp was stupid. I mistakenly saved at the end with low ammo/weapons, bilirubin there was no backtracking to prep for the onslaught at the end!

MK 64 all the way on this one!

MK64 is like the worst MK game, it's not 60fps. Bioshock Infinite was at least a serviceable game so I would've voted Bioshock had I voted.
