Hey hivemind

I have been working my arse off and coming close to the successful end large project. I am shattered and I want to reward myself for the months of 12 hour working days.

I want to get a shiny new toy/gadget but my imagination is not cooperating. Can you make any suggestions?

I don't want a console, nor a VR kit. I have a great PC so nothing there either.
I was thinking of a new Sage coffee machine, but my ten year old De'Longhi still makes a very decent cup, so I don't see the need.

The floor is yours. Budget up to say £/$/€ 1k.

Buy a grands worth of hiking and camping gear instead, train for a couple of weeks walking for an hour with an increasing amount of weight each day, then go completely off grid for a wildcamp over a weekend.

It's pretty much the opposite of what you're asking, but it'll be a lot more fulfilling and better for you.

I hear ya, but I already exercise on a daily basis and living in London does not allow me to go camping easily (nor do I have the circle tbh for this).

Do you like coffee?

Get a good espresso machine, grinder, and precision scales. Here's my kit:
