Post tips, tricks, and ideas for parents who game. Also story and anecdotes about your parents gaming history.

Classic tricks include giving young kids a non working controller.

Also please post tips for finding games that are great for nap times, games that you can play after getting 4 hours of sleep and don't need 3 frame perfect button inputs, or games that aren't 100 hours long which you'll be at by the time your kid gets into university, but are still deep and fulfilling.

Just beat Sherlock Holmes Testament with my 10 year old watching. She was hooked on the story. It was short and sweet, and an easy platinum. Got me excited for the next entry in the series. Also a puzzle guide definitely helped with a few of those puzzles though. If the kids are into the game's story they'll just sit there and watch while asking you questions the whole time.
