Since Bravely Default HD Remaster just released, Bravely Second and 2 which is completely gutted in what should be basic stuff like dungeon maps compared to its predecessors.

Dragons Dogma II, from everything Dark Arisen and Dragons Dogma Online had and for some absolutely insane baffling idiotic likely series killing reason they included none of it.

Octopath Traveler I using the Qol from II could become a near gen tier RPG. II fixed most of its flaws and vastly improved on it. Only problem really would be the purple chests in I, which can probably be solved with some ingenuity.

Tales of Graces F is stuffed full of QoL stuff, unfortunately Symphonia has yet to get a port anywhere near in quality.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 with the Qol from 1 DE, X DE and 3. Fully expect 2 DE to be revealed along with the next mainline Xenoblade entry.

RDR2 needed a proper fast travel system. I understand the reasons it doesn't, the concept of an open world, the strangers and unanticipated encounters etc being a major draw but I hated the horse riding, after the 10 hour mark I was so sick of it that I didn't want to do any side stuff because the horse riding just sapped the fun out of everything. In GTA the driving is fun, it doesn't matter if you're driving to the other side of the map for the 10th time because you can have fun putting the pedal to the metal, the horse riding wasn't anything like that and felt really tedious to me.

Was that not an issue with Red Dead Redemption 1?
