Trying to snag something a coworker might enjoy

Looking for a tactics strategy ass game like X-Com, but instead of all the science fiction stuff... is there one thats like World War 2 inspired or themed? Maybe WW1? You catch my drift

Has to be playable on Xbox

They made a new one. But Commandos is very different from X-Com.

Jagged Alliance 3. Doesn't have a WW theme, more like a cheesy 70s/80s action movie with mercenaries and cartels. Excellent gameplay though, and a highly replayable campaign.

Uhhh.

Xbox would have to support Steam Link or something to stream from PC, but Silent Storm and Silent Storm Sentinels are very much like a WW2-ish X-Com. And I mean X-Com specifically, not XCOM.

Realtime squad stealth tactics. I don't even remember if the first one had pause.

Real time tactics are always in real time and require a lot of quick saving and fast reflexes. Can't imagine them working on consoles, but new Commandos is on Xbox.
