Seems to be pushing the bits of educational user programming and game design we saw in the later Labo kits and Super Mario Maker to the next level.

I’m all for it. Teaching children and unfortunate adults like myself is always a noble cause, self-made/user created content can be fun, and Nintendo certainly seem to have the skill set to do it. Will be interested in how this turns out.

Can almost feel the unprecedented seethe coming from Media Molecule.

Nice to see they didn’t totally give up on the Labo series.

everyone will complain about the online whatever it is.

This will probably sell in Japan for the rest of the systems life.

Tbh this could be a really good tool for prototyping ideas before putting them in a real engine. Only issue is the physics look a bit floaty in the video, a bit typical 3D faux-2D platform, lacking the crispness of say Super Mario World.

This looks like a great way to give nerdy obsessive kids an avenue to understand programming, while hopefully being hard work enough to put those unsuited to such a life off at an early age.
