Publisher Square Enix and developer Luminous Productions have released an extended cut of the title reveal trailer for action RPG Forspoken, previously known as Project Athia.

The extended cut includes new gameplay footage not featured in the original title reveal trailer. A full gameplay reveal trailer is scheduled for release later in 2021.

The movement stuff looks awesome, but gotta say, I'm not a fan of the profanity-laden angst of a modern teenager/20-something against the backdrop of a fantasy world. Also, what is it with hiring Brits and forcing them to speak American?

I'm with you on that. Visually it looks great, gameplay looks fun, but the language

Just drag me out of the experience entirely why don't you. You have to wonder whether they focus tested it at all, or maybe the Developers think that all black Characters have to swear like they're from the hood or something.

Because its not 'Fuck me!! is that a Dragon' instead it's 'Is that a motherfucking Dragon' because when surprised, motherfucker is the natural route. Maybe the saw Dexter and misread the subs or something ...

The swearing is definitely bringing it down and also weird with a British accent. We generally don't say motherfucker.

"Is that a bloody dragon!?" would have been more appropriate in every sense.

If it was American I'd say thats alright. But since its British, it won't work.
