I agree, too much green. Fallout 76 missed out on showcasing the post-apocalyptic aesthetic, ruined by nuclear warfare. At least in Fallout 76's case, due to how close after the bombs dropped, the decayed ruins would still look cleaner than what is in all the other Fallout games.

Welp. It certainly looks like Fallout. That power armor is on point and Walton Goggins as a ghoul is inspired casting. Don't know if the execution will be any good though. This is Amazon after all, where a series can be either fantastic (Reacher, Good Omens) or CRAP (Rings of Power, Wheel of Time).

I'm actually kind of astounded that it's all in on that Fallout Aesthetic to the degree that it is. What the series will be like remains to be seen, however, I have to give Amazon props in that they're clearly not shying away from committing to the vibe. I guess for me the inherent issue with Fallout is there's always been an undercurrent of absurdity to it. Taking that whole 50s mowed lawns and white picket fences, gee golly vibe, and running it through this faux post-apoc radiation/mutation angle. It's not meant to be taken seriously and so I wonder how that translates when it comes to the storyline side of things.

On the flip side, given what they have shown here, it clearly shows intent by Amazon, which does bode well for the prospects of the Henry Cavill 40K series which is in the works. I dare say after the shitshow of Rings of Power they need to ensure they avoid writing disasters like that again.

I certainly hope they've learned their lesson after Rings of Power bombed spectacularly. The fact that they're contractually obligated to make 5 more seasons of it despite it's failure should be hard lesson for them. The lesson being, don't let woke assholes run your billion dollar fantasy series into the ground.

ESPECIALLY when it's based on Tolkien.

My interest was at an 8 for the attention to the look. My expectations were a 3 due to Amazon and their Lord of the Rings bullshit. This article puts it to a 0, because, of course this intersectional shit is going to push another IP into the dirt.

The funny thing is, in a post apocalyptic world, feminism would not exist by the nature of having to survive.

It is also why Furiosa is going to be complete shit. I know, I know, muh George Miller...however that scene where Furiosa punches Mad Max in the face with her stump attached to the shoulders of a woman was one of the silliest things from Fury Road. Yeah, that will knock out a guy who just escaped a bunch of War Boys in a mad dash scramble melee.

I typed up a list of Amazon's failures to consider like The Ring of Time, Rings of Power but started back over with this, how the Director of Westworld totally flopped after Season 1, and the fact that all SAG-AFTRA members are full bore in the regressive left cult of intersectionality and will NOT allow anything good that doesn't pass through their lens of woke bullshit. We have a writer who is responsible for the very same in The Marvels and it is hard to see how it could be good.

This isn't a slight against you. I don't expect miracles because we are in a pretty terrible timeline all things considered. And that timeline is being curated by:

Just saying. I hope the series is good because they nailing the lore from the looks of it even going with the goofie ass power armor and rad roaches, Yao gai….. I just wanna see how they will do the death claw.

Id argue the boys is almost coincidentally good, the actors are so good, they compensate for some of the more cringe stuff on that show.

I'll definitely have to check out Reacher

Well that stinks. The Boys and their spin-off are past woke and into another dimension. I expect trannies and every leader being non white and every villain being white. I expect gore porn and dick shots.

Never got into the Fallout games so no real idea as to what's going on. But Walton Goggins is in this and that may be enough for me to check this out.

I think you saw that in the trailer. I really want to see what they do with mutants.

Because if they're going with everything costume wise. Mutants are going to be some of the most goofy ass looking characters around

I think Amazon is desperate for a hit outside of The Boys. So I would guess they are hoping they can ride this for a long time.

Why is there a mutant as some kind of vault administrator? That makes no sense (unless there's some explanation for it, like it's a bunch of mutants occupying an opened and abandoned vault or something).
