Priced at $69.99/£69.99 and set for release on June 10, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is a PS5 update of last year's RPG featuring improved visuals, faster loading times, a Photo Mode, haptic feedback and new DLC starring Yuffie.

Square Enix said on Tuesday that the Yuffie episode is officially titled FF7R Episode Intermission.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake PS4 owners will be able to upgrade to the PS5 game for free and transfer saves from the last-gen version, though this offer isn't available to owners of March's PS Plus version of the title.

And the free upgrade won't include Intermission, which will also be available for PS5 as a standalone $19.99 purchase from the PlayStation Store.

Square Enix:

Players can look forward to utilising Yuffie's signature battle style in combat as she undertakes a mission to steal the Shinra Electric Power Company's most powerful materia. Together with Avalanche HQ's support, they cross behind enemy lines to reclaim their homeland's former glory and exact revenge long in the making, Yuffie shines in both close and long-range combat. As a member of Wutai's elite corps of ninja operatives, she has a unique play style which allows her to throw her iconic massive throwing star at enemies. During that time, she is able to attack with long-range ninjutsu that can be augmented with her Elemental Ninjutsu ability, which can change its affinity to fire, ice, lightning or wind.

Meh, they want to sell me the game in chapters and sell DLC, great. I don't have any interest tbh I just want the next main game.

20 dollars? Fuck that's a lot but this is one series I pretty much will buy whatever they throw at me.

I mean, it's not a dealbreaker, but it's pretty chintzy, as this stuff is usually packaged into a new version.

We used it a lot where I grew up, specifically to mean being cheap, but I've never really heard anyone else outside my region use it until this week when there was an explosion of usage from one user lol. You heard that somewhere and I want to know where damnit lol

I think I was just looking for the perfect word to describe something, and this popped up for the first time in forever? And of course, once I had it, it was too fun to use for everything, lol.

I was legitimately triggered that there appears to be more than one meaning for it

Has anyone played Dirge of Cerberus and Crisis Core that recommends them? Should I play them before continuing FF7R? Or am I giving myself a chintzy experience by not playing them first?

Lol. Maybe a recap video? Crisis Core itself is pretty chintzy.

I mean I own it on PSP and I could always whip up a rom out of laziness, but I am worried it will feel chintzy after playing the remake.
