The massive 5.5 update for Final Fantasy 14 is due on April 13, bringing with it part one of the Death Unto Dawn story. There's a new raid, a new dungeon, and a host of famous villains and summons from Final Fantasy games of yore.

The NieR-inspired alliance raid dungeon, co-created by NieR devs Yosuke Saito and Yoko Taro, delivers the most striking imagery in the video.

I play when they release new patches. I loved SB a lot, but feel the patch content added after the main game has been lacking. I don't do savage raids and they haven't added any good battle content that lasts really. I am looking forward to finishing the Nier raid though.

I played it when it came out on PS4 for a month or so then got it on PC and played a month or so and stopped. Didn't ever have a group of people to play with so I stopped, got kind of boring going solo.

I picked it up earlier last year after I heard how good Shadowbringers was and made my way through the base game content, but got sidetracked/busy at work and unsubscribed. I hope to go back eventually and enjoy the expansion content which I hear is really good.

I think it's a really well made game.
