I am excited to see how this movie turns out. I loved the Ford v. Ferrari and the juggernaut that Ferrari is in the history of racing is just as plucky a story as Carol Shelby making the Cobra. It's a story that deserves a great movie telling and I hope it does Ferrari justice.

I would love to see a movie explore Mickey Thompson and his right hand man Fritz Voigt (wizard of all things internal combustion engine) and all of the inventions he made with racing off road, drag, Indinapolis, boats, Salt Flats, etc.. A working class hot rodder who, if he wasn't murdered, would have had us all on Mars by now just due to the technological advancements he forged in the pursuit of speed. Supposedly Jon Favreau was working on a Mickey Thompson movie, don't know what has come of it. Favreau is a low-key hotrodder, it was his 32 Ford convertible you saw in Tony Starks garage when he was diagnosing the flathead engine FYI.

Lance Reventlow with his Stout Scarab, another home grown race car that put the hurt on Porsche, Jaguar, Lotus, etc.. back in the day. This guy was a Howard Hughes of racing and playboy heir to the Woolworth fortune, who died in an airplane crash at an early age, sadly.
