Your favorite PlayStation Platformer of all time, if you had to choose only one? Mine's definitely Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back (1997) for the PlayStation

Astrobot VR was incredible and was worth the price of admission for PSVR.

Before that, I really dug the Sly series. Especially Sly 2. In my opinion, those games have aged the best while Crash/R&C/J&D all show their age. I can still play the Sly games from time to time and not get annoyed with outdated design or mechanics, they hold up great.

Sunk a ton of time into the LittleBig Planet games.

Sackboy's Adventure is almost on par with Mario 3D World if you like that style of isometric platformer.

Sly Cooper was their best 3D platformer series, not sure why they totally dropped it. Felt like they had that perfect blend of semi-open maps with fine tuned linear platforming sections during the missions.

Crash, Jak & Daxter, and Spyro have always been just ok in my book

Crash and Spyro are my favorites. But Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly was a bit plain iirc. I'll have to give it another go at some point in time

The OG Spyro trilogy but if that doesn't count then the original Jak and Dexter for pure collectathon. I also have a soft spot for the PS2 era and Future trilogy Ratchet and Clank.
