The horses in Mount & Blade are still my favorite all-around. The way that horse direction and momentum allowed for charges and lancing was amazing.

Punished Stallion from MGS5 and the horses in Minecraft are definitely up there though.

I was also attached to my horse in RDR2. I had the one that came with the deluxe edition. Rode that sone of bitch for >100hrs. When he died I was pretty sad.

There was a lot of bonding with Epona and Agro. I love both of them. But Agro is the bravest horse that I know in gaming; directly doing his part in fighting some of the Colossi. He's like an ant to many of them, but still rides with Wander to help defeat them all

Jin's horse in Ghost of Tsushima after you complete Iki Island. I mean, the horse is a breeze to control unlike other videogame mounts (looking at you RDR2), but the addition of the mounted charge plus the Sakai horse armor turns it into a vehicle of death.

Agro for sure, but I did really build an unexpected bond with my horse in RDR2. All that feeding, grooming, whistling, customizing and riding over such a long period of time really fostered an interesting connection.
