Should have instead pick 4 movies to move forward. And one movie to drop out.

It amazes me that this group still loves Terminator 2 so much. Its like going to a record store and finding a passionate U2 fan.

Pretty sure it's going to win the entire contest. You better get ready for it.

I'm in the weird boat that I enjoy ESB more than ANH but I'd vote ANH over it. ANH changed the game and as a standalone film is arguably the best movie ever made.

Sequels suffer from the Hendrix effect. Plenty of guitarists have come after Hendrix that are "better" but they *aren't Jimi Hendrix*... he didn't change the game, he made the game all guitarists afterward played.

I also think T2 is the best of them all but I think the finale should be Jurassic Park vs. A New Hope. Two timeless films that changed the game. Alien, too... but it's inferior to Aliens IMO and Aliens isn't on here :(

I know I'm surrounded by the right people when every one of these films would be in my top 5 / top 10. Whoever wins, we win.

Really should rewatch Jurassic Park tbh

I cant help but feel like Blade Runner or The Thing or something similar should be in its place here

You "T1 is better than T2" extremists are the weirdest people on earth. What's your tyranny alter ego?

T1 was just a purer Terminator experience. T2 built up on the original by getting into the people behind Skynet, government cover ups and family issues. Those additional themes still make for a fantastic movie, but they do detract from the simpler get away from the Terminator, which will keep hunting until it is destroyed.

I voted for Star Wars and Terminator 2. I think that Empire Strikes Back is a great movie, but as a standalone film it just doesn't deliver as much. Leaving so much in the air doesn't work without the sequel, and this is an individual movie face/off, not a franchise/series face/off.

I'm not sure why anybody would want that anyone who has the Blu-ray of aliens knows that James Cameron used a very very grainy film stock. Unless they artificially clean it up or something.

Grain is awesome tbh. Removing it isnt the point of 4k

Take the latest Texas Chain Saw Massacre release ( via Second Sight) looks phenomenal with vibrant colors and deep blacks. Grain intact

Flicks like T2 and Predator are notoriously bad transfers due to excessive digital grain removal. Everything looks smooth and plastic like and theres weird artifcacting throughout

T2 takes T1 and turns it into an epic story. Similar to Alien 1, which was an ok horror-flick, but then Aliens 2 turned it into a complete package.

@Explosive Zombie @MetalAlien

Was just wondering when we'd get this

At the same time as The Abyss and True Lies
never ever

Best version of T2:
