Hello and welcome to the 14th vote in the 2nd Round of the DPAD Top Movies Face/Off series! 🧐

The two movies facing off for your vote today are:

Total Recall (1990)
Zw

Kung Fu Panda (2008)
LmpwZw

I enjoy Total Recall as a great action/sci fi movie, but I think Sharon Stone played her role really well also. What a great wife she would make. (The first google image search was basically NSFW, but nice) The other lady was nice too. In fact, the casting was done very well in my view, with Ronny Cox being a great Governor of Mars after being in Beverley Hills Cop and Robocop.

Sharon Stone in Total Recall:

Kung Fu Panda was from around the time I was starting to tune out from modern movies, so I don't think I've seen it fully. But it doesn't seem to have destroyed its own franchise like modern Toy Story, so thats a plus.

I still love this fight scene. Especially the bit where Tai Lung's hands have that blue fire.

That is a good scene. Not only does the animation look quite good, the story seems a bit deeper than I thought. I thought it would have been mainly cheesy with Jack Black, but it seems to play with the honour and destiny themes a bit as well.
