I do like both Prince of Egypt and The 6th Day, but I think out of the both of them I prefer the 6th Day. A good sci-fi movie with Swarzenegger, with an interesting exploration of the morals and consequences of cloning.

Dawn of the Days-remake is THE greatest zombie-movie. If you don't vote for it here, you must hate zombie-movies, I guess. It's the movie I can rewatch every day. Fuck any zombie-movies that try to do something "new", I don't want "new", I want more Dawn of the Days. It's the Ocarina of Time of Zombies.

Is the original Dawn of the Dead in competition? It's much better than a remake.

I guess it's still the best film in this bunch.

World War Z is my favorite zombie movie. I also really liked Contagion but that is more of an excellent outbreak medical thriller.

I'll vote for The 6th Day. I really like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Only slow zombies are scary. Fast zombies are just retarded comic book monsters. I'm gonna pretend we're voting for the classic.

I didn't even know there was a previous movie in the series. Wow, there are so many original films in the 60s and 70s that seem to be remade again and again.

George Romero's Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead invented modern zombies. Before that the term was associated with voodoo.

Mickmrly fix the title please.

Plenty of hidden gems too (at least for the younger audiences) worth exploring. Some were amazingly ahead of their time. For example, Colossus (1970) deals with the potential impact of an omniscient AI. Fantastic film.

Those bottom two are favorites of mine. Watch the Bad Guy trailer that song is soooooo good.

Fuck! How did I miss this one? Not that it would have changed things, but I would have voted Spies Like Us. A classic comedy. Dawn of the Dead is a solid film, but I personally prefer the original. In the remake they are in the mall weeks maybe and even that is an assumption based on some (weak) montages and the gun dealer going hungry. In the OG film they were there months and months and it felt like it. It was an experience of escaping carnage, finding Eden and then having Eden invaded... with zombies!
