Seven Samurai is one of the most significant films ever made. I'll vote for it in practically all cases. It's not just a historical curiosity though. It's a damn fine film still to this day.

Think both are great works of cinema and an absolute blast to watch. However Seven Samurai gets my vote.

While I haven't seen The Seven Samurai yet, it does seem like a good classic movie. However, even if it is a classic I think that The Fifth Element is still a better movie.

Chris Tucker is great in basically every movie he is in, the rest of the cast is great too, the music is nice and the story is actually pretty deep. It is a pretty funny Science Fiction film and I think it is one of the greatest films of all time.

yes. Fifth Element is my solstice movie, Die Hard my Xmas film. December is just all about Bruce Willis I guess

It's all about the dynamic between the characters, with some humorous parts in their interactions. Sad the movie lost, very close!
