I picked Heat but I can live with the Matrix winning

Heat is a good movie with great action sequences but I think The Matrix is a more interesting movie. The Matrix has some philosophy mixed with good character development and those slow motion action sequences are really great to watch. I also like the mix of late 90s corporate and grungy style.
