I'm not looking forward to it messing with the bootloader just as Windows 10 enjoyed to do, but I'll have to update eventually.
You know what, I'm starting the process now, made a full backup last week so I can repair my PC if required.
Edit:
Update is finished, took around two hours.
It didn't mess with the bootloader (GRUB2) so that's a plus. I have an SSD split into a Windows and a Linux partition.
No changes in speed when compared to Windows 10 from what I can tell just moving around in menus, folders and doing a test online payment (that was my biggest fear, my bank's 2FA not working after updating).
The new interface is... I dunno, the default theme colors, responsiveness and all that are fine but it looks like someone took hints from macOS and GNOME 40. Not liking it much but we'll be using this at work in the near future so I better get used to it now.
Edit 2:
So Win 11 re-enables fast boot after installation without asking first, thus I was unable to write to its partition from Linux. Disabling fast boot and shutting down completely, then logging back into Linux fixed that problem.
