If Netherealm are doing a Marvel game (which would make sense given they missed their traditional reveal window) now would be the time to do it! In any case pretty exciting for fans of Marvel games.

Fans across the world will be able to watch the Disney & Marvel GAMES SHOWCASE live, hosted by Kinda Funny's Blessing Adeoye Jr., featuring reveals, announcements, and trailers for new and upcoming games.

The digital showcase will feature incredible new content from Disney & Pixar Games, Marvel Games, Lucasfilm Games, and 20th Century Games. In addition to all-new announcements, fans can expect new reveals from titles including Disney Dreamlight Valley, Marvel's Midnight Suns, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and a sneak peek at the upcoming Marvel ensemble game from Skydance New Media.

Will see what they have to show. Though the only Marvel character based games on my radar are Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine.

Still too early to show that Indiana Jones game? Ditto Jedi Survivor.

Kotor Reboot does not sound like its having a good time, would be surprised to see anything there.

If Netherrealm are doing a Marvel fighter, God I think it could rival a new Naughty Dog game for me in terms of excitement. Still I'm not banking on it, but it was weird for them to miss the Game Awards. Disney having a say of how and when would fit.

I wished I could get excited but I'm sure Disney/Marvel would be very specific in the characters that could be used like what happened with Marvel vs Capcom Infinite.

I'd expect a playable roster to consist of Iron Heart. Ms Marvel, Captain Marvel, Shuri, probably all the Eternals. Pretty much everyone we wouldn't want in a Marvel fighting game. Then on top of that I'd expect Spider-Man to be PS5 only.

I think they seemed to have learned a lot from those early days. I mean I think characters on the horizon would certainly get a push but I can't see all the classic characters not been included. Rosters can get pretty big these days after all the expansions.

Hopefully we get a darth jar jar side dlc story in the lego game. The game doesnt cost enough for me to consider buying it I need 60 more dollars worth of dlc to justify purchasing it.

That's in addition to "all-new announcements, fans can expect new reveals from titles including Disney Dreamlight Valley, Marvel's Midnight Suns, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and a sneak peek at the upcoming Marvel ensemble game from Skydance New Media," Disney said in a press release.

The Marvel game is being helmed by Amy Hennig, former Naughty Dog creative director and one of the main forces behind the Uncharted series.

In a statement earlier this year announcing the game from Skydance New Media, Hennig said: "I can't imagine a better partner than Marvel for our first game".

She continued: "The Marvel Universe epitomizes all the action, mystery and thrills of the pulp adventure genre that I adore and lends itself perfectly to an interactive experience.

"It's an honor to be able to tell an original story with all the humanity, complexity, and humor that makes Marvel characters so enduring and to enable our players to embody these heroes that they love."

This follows the news in May that Todd Stashwick had joined Skydance New Media, following the two working together on EA's cancelled Star Wars: Project Ragtag.
