D3 is more fun than D2, but D2 is a better game. Fight me.

Dark, atmospheric but grand adventure and story Diablo 2 like with Diablo 3s combat, mechanics and on the fly respec would be amazing.

A Diablo spinoff as a Souls/Nioh 2 like could be interesting also. One of Diablo IVs early concepts was making a Soul-like. I imagine better to test a drastic change like that on a spinoff then the next major main title.

If it had been done perfectly I imagine it would have come across as a mix of Bloodborne and Elden Ring with combat rivaling Nioh 2 and Sekero.

Game will still be successful. Yea people will complain and be upset but most of them buy it anyway.

Its been like this for microtransactions since day one. People still support it, thats why its still around today and even in full priced games.

Im torn because I really enjoyed the beta but this shit is so off putting and just adds to the other bullshit of raising skin packs on cod from 2400 cod points to 3000 points now.

I'm generally okay with item shops as long as they aren't selling power and that revenue leads to additional fun content.

So the world boss trophy could only be earned a limited time Saturday where I had stuff to do most of the day, and it wont respawn anytime today. Absolutely livid. Limited instances in a game seems like a really really bad idea. Almost as bad as Nintendo limiting Fire Emblem and Super Mario All Stars on Switch before removing them form sale period, or Bungie outright removing chunks of Destiny 2. Terrible precedent for players.

That aside the game itself even Act 1 alone is incredible and a non low level druid is a hell of a lot of fun.

Its not the best attitude but I will let the whales keep buying the skin packs and I will reap the benefits of free content.
