Just finished Dark Cloud 2. It is a very charming RPG with an interesting mechanic that involves time travel and puzzles where you need to build villages/houses/... in the past let them develop and then you can access them in the future to progress the game.
The art-style is cell-shaded and very cute and it has a compelling story.
Overall the game is a great experience. It is very easy and does not require any particular grinding, unless you want to max out your weapons of choice. Give it a try, it is a great game.

Surprisingly I enjoy the first one more than the second. I'm pretty sure most would say second is better. I remember they switched buttons around or something with lock on mechanic i forget that i liked less. The second game was much bigger with alot more to do. I think I just enjoyed the first one being more simple. I think my opinion is an unpopular one. They both deserve to be played imo.

Interesting. I need to get around to play the first one then. But first I have to finish Hitman 2. There are just too many good PS2 games.

Dark Cloud 1 is seriously underrated and has alot of charm. It's on PS4 for like $5 bucks. Same with Arc the Lad Twilight of the Spirits another underrated PS2 gem.

I will order it off ebay for the PS2. I must get some use of my NINE PS2 consoles I bought off ebay, often when drunk and thought "hey, why don't I buy another ps2?" :)
