Dude, if you have trouble with female custodes then bless your soul. There is a bushel of trillion times worse fluff violations. Literally the smallest thing which somehow got spun into this "No! Warhammer 40k is dead." If you had seen the stuff that came before you would have jumped off the nearest bridge.

Anyway, I recommend Battlesector. An actually decent story with some interpersonal relationships...in a Warhammer game... impossibru! Also, I don't understand where the "infested with DLC" comes from. There's two dollar or so DLCs featuring units that were added post launch that don't fit the story but people wanted them regardless and then extra factions and that's it. There's also the soundtrack so is that the issue?

Space Marine has atrocious writing and mediocre gameplay but at least the gameplay can be fixed by installing the Project Ultra mod. That makes the game a lot more fun.

Inquisitor Martyr is just bad. I played it for like two hours and it is just a sad game.

Total War Warhammer III is a total mess. I recommend the first one which plays by far the best with 2 being somewhere in between. But really, stay away from III, it runs like shit, plays like shit and is just not fun. Constant multiple doom stack attacks make every battle take ages as upkeep is obviously not a thing in that game, while on the other hand in the 1st game getting a full stack takes a strong economy and the final boss battle that is supposed to ravage the whole world is 3 stacks walking together. 3 stacks in Warhammer 3 is an average skirmish (that will take you an hour to finish).
