Never played any of the MSG's so can't comment on that. And not seeing any Portal in that gameplay trailer either. Still though, after watching it, now this on my radar. It looks damn cool and I'm a sucker for a cool TPS. It's reminding me of MP3, Quantum Break, and Vanquish for some reason. Stealth stuff must be from MSG.
 
MGS is still the best MGS game in my opinion, the sequels all have their moments though to be fair. I just think the first game is still the best overall. Each of the sequels annoyed me in various ways.

I love them all pretty much equally, for 3 and 4 it's been years so maybe when I get to replay them I might change my mind. 3 especially I haven't played since the PS2 days, it's close on the list.
 
I don't know why but I was totally hooked by the trailer. I love the graphics and the body suit and the action. And the MGS vibe.

Will keep an eye on this one.

Has motion blur released any good games?
 
Looks really cool, visually. The voice acting is hit and miss from what I watched. It's not bad by any means, but it's just in that middle ground area where your brain is reminded that someone who isn't a great actor was just reading these lines into a mic.

Btw it's PC only. It's a small Turkish dev, I expect the game to be mediocre, would surprise me if it'll be totally fire.

It'll be a visual showcase though and seems like Nvidia is supporting it well.

I can't stand IGN so I only watched Jackfrags video, and I really don't see the appeal here, it looks to me it's one of those UE5 tech demos 4090 users masturbate to. Nothing promising from what I saw. And "door mechanics"? really?

Gameplay footage was the same in both videos, it wasn't footage they recorded. So you didn't miss out on anything.

Yes this will likely be a somewhat entertaining yet janky shooter with amazing visuals. I expect it to be a 7/10 game.

Watching the new stuff, honestly it looks overexposed in a lot of places, the MC's design is kinda meh, and the floors look waaaaaay too reflective.

I'm optimistic that it will be better in the future however, and theres a big hole in the industry where MGS used to be.
