Man, I can't wait to get this game. I love the art direction and the characters. Having said that, games are a ways off from getting properly rendered fur. The hardware just isn't there right now unfortunately.

game looks so good. Sadly I neither have the pc as hardware isn't available a nor a ps4 to play it. FML. Interested in this game since I saw It the first time. Well.. watching a stream it has to be ;-;
I was cautiously optimistic but the recent two trailers have made it seem like a fusion of Breath of the Wild and Just Cause 3, so I'm pretty excited now. It just looks like a jolly good time and the IQ, graphics tech, animation and general polish has come a long way in the last couple of years, now it looks like a game rather than a vertical slice. The only thing I'm not massive fan of so far are the crazyily oversaturated ("Samsung") colours, but I think the colours will look way better natively than these youtube vids make it look, its wiping out a lot of subtle colour detail/gradation probably.
I think I'll put Returnal on the backburner until its 40ish squid and get this + something else instead.Two games for the price of one!
Off topic rant about cdkeys, grey key sites and publisher complaining about resellers below:
Thank fuck for being on PC as well as console to get these sweet cdkeys deals (Thanks again Gymmy). As a side note I'm so glad I can just rely on cdkeys for the best price and service on grey keys now, I used to use Kinguin, G2A and G2Play and those sites aren't terrible but they have more and more scummy added at checkout bullshit fees to the point where you weren't even saving the small amount off RRP you went there for.
Cdkeys just has the final price right there upfront, you pay it and get the key within seconds, bish bash bosh. If its not available on cdkeys for cheaper (or at all in some cases) its almost always because the publisher region locked all the keys. I got pretty annoyed at that spate of pubs talking about how G2A or whoever had "missold" their keys and was "stealing" from them, I was like "FFS you are the one who sold the keys with that bulk discount, to those regions, without region locking them", you can tell that was a bullshit excuse when you'd see the games I was talking about in my 2nd paragraph, where they do appear on cdkeys et al but they are just retail price or a few pounds under.
Thats when the publisher actually controls the distribution properly, which in my mind is not the right thing to do because if the game was too much for me on the main sites then I'm not going to buy it on cdkeys for a couple of quid off, so thats a lost full price sale from me until its buttons later on when they could've made 60% of retail off me.

I was about to say maybe I'll grab it for PS5 since the way they are talking about the PS5/XSX versions it could be a better experience for me than on my PC. RE8 certainly is.

I really like the look of the world and characters. The explosions also look nice and beefy!
